SUPPORT DNA
I recently heard some unsettling news. I found out that one of my Favorite dance spaces is being forced to close. This took me by surprise, because of all the great dances spaces in New York, DNA is one of the less crowded, less expensive and clean facilities that the dance community has. Also it has a special place in my heart. When i moved here in 2006. I booked my first audition at DNA. The economy sucks, but we have to keep quality and goodness in existence and Dance New Amsterdam represents just that. Please support and fight keeping this Space working

TARGET SPECTACULAR What do you call 20 sensory-overloaded minutes fashioned out of 60+ dancers, an original visual program created by Daft Punk’s light designers, a new pop symphony from one-half of N.A.S.A., and over 155 rooms of New York’s Standard Hotel? You could start with “Spectacular,” but even that seems limiting. This one-time-only show for Target’s 2010 fall apparel collection is just about the coolest and most unique event Mother’s ever produced! "I had one of the best dancing experiences of my life. Target hired me and 70 other dancers to perform one of the biggest art installations ever. Under the choreography of Sir Ryan Heffington & Targets creative team, produced was a Kaleidoscopic Fashion Spectacular @ The Standard Hotel in NYC. To watch this event in full visit http://apps.facebook.com/targetspectacular/ - NOTE: There are many dancers involved, to catch a quick solo of mine you can fast forward to the 43:00 marker under the viewing option 'Rover 1'." ![]() ![]() |
