I found out that one of my Favorite dance spaces is being forced to close. This took me by surprise, because of all the great dances spaces in New York, DNA is one of the less crowded, less expensive and clean facilities that the dance community has. Also it has a special place in my heart. When i moved here in 2006. I booked my first audition at DNA. The economy sucks, but we have to keep quality and goodness in existence and Dance New Amsterdam represents just that. Please support and fight keeping this Space working     . The vision I used to see when dreaming about the TONY'S, was a vision of me  wearing a black dress shimmering, my hair was pulled back in to an elegant bun. Red lipstick and black long fake lashes....In other words I looked like a Fosse dancer performing in Chicago..HA!.  Instead in reality my TONY night will be the opposite... Very colorful, with dots...lots of dots.
