By purchasing a "workshop" you are agreeing to the scheduled dates of classes.

 

PRIVACY AGREEMENT:

All major Credit Cards accepted and all payments are processed through PayPal.  They are secure transactions and are covered by Paypal's Privacy policies.  As for Movement & Characters, we will ONLY use your email for personal records and for sending newsletters & promotions, unless you unsubscribe.  We will NEVER sell your information or use it any other way.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY:  Students can withdraw from a purchased workshop and receive a full refund up until the first day of scheduled class.   Once a student begins the workshop the option for a refund is no longer available.  There are no credits or refunds for missed classes.  If class is cancelled on behalf of Movement & Characters, a make up class will be offered within 30 days.

Should you have to cancel and need a refund, and you are within your cancellation period, please email MovementandCharacters@gmail.com should you need to cancel your registration and receive a refund and we will respond as soon as possible in order to expedite the process.  Please allow 7-14 business days for the full refund to take place.  Movement & Characters reserves the right to choose how to issue the refund by check or by crediting back the original card used for purchase.  

Dress code
Child classes: Comfortable clothes to move in. Bare feet. No socks allowed due to slipping danger.
 
Creative Ballet: Leotard and footless tights. t-shirt and shorts/stretchy pants. Bare feet or ballet slippers.  No socks or footed tights allowed without ballet slippers.
 
Broadway Workshop/ Dance / Jazz classes: Same as Creative Ballet or Jazz pants and fitted top. Jazz shoes or character heels or same as creative ballet
 
Hip-Hop: Street clothes and sneakers
 
- No dangling earrings or jewelry
- No Tutus or head pieces
 
It is recommended for all to bring some type of cover up just in case it gets cold in the studio.
 
This workshop will give students an in-depth look into Musical Theater.  The first half of the day will be dedicated to Technique in Dance, Voice, and Acting.  The second half will be dedicated to the Art of Performance, where students will learn actual repertoire from some of the hottest shows on Broadway!  The week will end with an informal showing, on the last day, for family and friends to enjoy.  This week will be taught by Broadway’s Hettie Barnhill and will feature guest artists from current Broadway shows to industry professionals. (includes snacks) $250 / 5 Classes (15 hrs total)
